Presales Engineer – ELV Systems | Control Cables | Structured Cabling (WFH)
Key Responsibilities
- Drive technical presales support for ELV solutions including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA Systems, BMS, and IBMS
- Prepare accurate BOQs, techno-commercial proposals, cost estimates, and compliance statements
- Analyze tender documents, project specifications, and construction drawings to deliver competitive solutions
- Design and recommend structured cabling solutions (copper & fiber optic) as per international standards
- Select and propose control cables based on application, performance, and compliance requirements
- Work closely with the sales team to convert opportunities into orders
- Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, and vendors for technical clarifications and pricing
- Support client meetings with technical presentations and solution walkthroughs
Qualification / Requirement
- Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering fields
- 2–3 years of proven presales experience in ELV systems and low-current solutions
- Strong knowledge of ELV products, structured cabling systems, and control cables
- Hands-on experience with BOQ preparation, tendering, and estimation
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and technical documentation
- Strong communication, negotiation, and solution-selling skills
